Herbal Tea for Monsoon

Ing. –

  • 1 stalk of lemongrass
  • 4-5 mint leaves
  • 4-5 basil leaves
  • 1-inch ginger
  • 1 cup of water
  • 1/4 tsp jaggery powder

Herbal Tea for Monsoon

Method

  1. Add all ingredients In water cover and let it infuse for a few minutes
  2. Pour the herbal tea into a cup through a strainer.
  3. Serve hot

Lemongrass – is used for treating digestive tract , respiratory disorders, fever, pain, swelling, and infections, high blood pressure, control cholesterol level. It is also used to kill germs and as a mild astringent.

Jaggery – is loaded with antioxidants and minerals like zinc, selenium, which help prevent free radicals and helps in the regulation of body temperature and also detoxifies the body. It boosts immunity and guards the body against the harmful pathogens. It naturally treats a cough and cold too

Ginger – anti-inflammatory, support digestion, help with motion sickness, reduce pain, rich in antioxidants and boost immune system

Mint – mint contains phytonutrients with antioxidant-like properties, it helps to proper digestion, cures asthma and cure from allergies, enhances the liver strength.
Basil exhibit antioxidant activity and supports the body’s lipid and protein oxidation level.it supports normal blood sugar level, liver function and immune system, helps in relieving stress
